South Shore Retirement Services is a full-service, holistic retirement planning firm that covers the key areas of any comprehensive financial plan: retirement income planning, wealth management, tax-efficient strategies, legacy strategies, and health care strategies.

With your permission, our All Hands Analysis® team may refer you to our trusted, local CPAs and/or estate planning attorneys to get you covered for tax-planning and the non-financial areas like health care and Medicare, and estate planning services. That way, everything is taken care of on one team, and nothing is lost in translation.

Our advisers help to grow your money and to spend it on the things you love. You’ve worked hard to get to this point, and retirement is about enjoying the fruits of your labor. This transition is a daunting shift, both financially and psychologically. All our advisers work closely with our clients to develop retirement income plans, manage investment portfolios, and build custom, proactive tax strategies.

Most importantly, they speak to you like a person and help you to understand where you are, what you can afford, and offer ideas and insight on how much is enough to do the things you want to do, and ways to pass assets onto beneficiaries in the most tax-efficient way possible.

The people we speak to every day usually fall into three categories:

  1. They have an existing adviser. Many of our clients had existing advisers prior to working with us. If we could identify any areas that we can adjust to help improve your current situation, and to help put more money in your pocket, wouldn’t you want to know about it? Our financial advisers give a lot of second opinions because you can’t get a second opinion from the person who gave you the first.
  2. They self-manage their finances. Some people prefer to hold the wheel. We celebrate those individuals who prefer to do it themselves. Our advisers help people retire every day. We offer a no-cost, no-obligation second opinion. Allow us to take a look and offer our observations to help ensure you’re not missing something or overlooking an element that you might not have considered.
  3. They’re nervous to make a change. We understand the idea of talking to someone about your finances may be intimidating. Trust is the No. 1 factor to help build any relationship, and we take that seriously at SSRS. That’s why this company was founded on our core values: Do the right thing at the right time for the right reason.*

Scheduling a 15-minute Introductory call or an in-person discovery meeting is completely complimentary to you. There is no cost or obligation to speak with our advisers or have an All Hands Analysis® conducted. We want you to have the full picture of what we would recommend before you decide if we’re a good fit. Should you decide to work with us, our advisers will review the fee structure and agreement. We charge asset management fees for our wealth management services, and those fees are determined by the size of the relationship.

South Shore Retirement Services has two core values that the entire team strives to live by every day: Do the right thing at the right time for the right reason,* and never forget that people are people, not numbers on a spreadsheet. SSRS is an independent company that was founded to serve members of our community that we aim to build long-term relationships with. This relationship works both ways; it’s not a transaction. We seek to serve people who we feel would be a good fit for our company because our clients become part of the SSRS family. If that’s you, you’re in the right place.

When sitting down for a Discovery meeting, you can expect a conversation about your goals, passions, and ideal retirement plans. Be prepared to ask questions or raise any concerns you have about the retirement planning process. We want to get to know your story and the vision you have for your ideal retirement, so we can understand what the money will be supporting. Your financial statements are important, but they can be difficult to put together. Don’t stress if you don’t have everything — we’d still love to meet with you.

If you have further questions, we want to hear from you! Or if you have any ideas, we’re always looking for new topics to discuss on our radio shows. Call the office at 781.836.4214.

*Do the right thing at the right time for the right reason is our core value and it does not promise or guarantee investment results or preservation of principal.
